TICK AND MOSQUITO SPRAYING SCHEDULED




TICK AND MOSQUITO SPRAYING

The tick and mosquito spraying is scheduled for Monday July 29, 2019.  It will be done between 10-11 weather permitting.



The areas to be sprayed are the Dust Bowl, Hampton Circle Playground,  Village Playground, and Menice Field.  It takes one hour to dry after spraying. 



DPW will  place signs to keep people off the fields and put up caution tape.

Why is the Flag Flying at Half Staff?



Please be advised that the date of interment for United States Supreme Court Associate Justice John Paul Stevens has been set for Tuesday, July 23, 2019.  As such Massachusetts Governor Charles D. Baker has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts flags at all state buildings should remain at half-staff until sunset, Tuesday, July 23, 2019.

The following is a brief list of events that are being held by the Hull Public Library in conjunction with the 375th anniversary of the Town. More information on specific events will follow in future issues.

·      Thursday July 25th at 7 PM. Nantasket Beach Resort Hotel. Nantasket Beach Series. Dr. Charles “Stormy” Mayo, Director of Right Whale Ecology Project at the Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown, MA.
·      Saturday July 27th, 11: 00 AM. 375th celebration at the HullPublic Library

WHY IS THE FLAG FLYING AT HALF STAFF?




Please be advised that in accordance with the Presidential proclamation issued as a mark of respect for the memory of retired Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court John Paul Stevens, who passed away on July 16, 2019, and as ordered by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, the United States flag and the Commonwealth flag shall be flown at half-staff at all state buildings beginning immediately until sunset on the day of interment.

The Bay State Cruise Ship, Provincetown, will depart from Pemberton Pier and cruise to the spectacular views of Boston Harbor.

Board at 6:15pm and Depart at 6:45pm sharp We will be returning to Pemberton Pier at 9:30pm.  Must be 21 to Board.

Cash Bar!  DJ!  Dancing!  Bring your own a picnic supper on board
This event is brought to you by the Hull Boosters.

The Booster will honor the price of $20 if purchased at the boat.  Tickets are also available at Schooners and Nantasket Paint & Hardware.
