On Thursday, December 10, 2020, the Weir River Water System and the Hull Fire Department will replace fire hydrants on

Atlantic House Road @ #35 (H-611)

Atlantic House Road @ State Park Road (H-612)

Customers in the follow areas will experience periodic interruptions in water service and there is a potential for discolored water:

Atlantic House Rd – Atlantic Ave to State Park Rd

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS WILL BEGIN AFTER 9:00 AM

Please check your washer prior to doing laundry as these shut downs may cause discolored water. Should you experience discolored water for more than a few hours contact us at 781-740-6695.

Why is the Flag Flying at Half Staff on December 7, 2020?

Please be advised that in accordance with Public Law 103-308 and by proclamation of the President of the United States, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered that the United States of America flag and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts flag be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings on Monday, December 7, 2020 in honor of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

Hull Library Book Group

 

The Hull Library Book Group will meet on December 16th at 2:30 to discuss "The Red Tent" by Diamant. We would like to again meet on the Library lawn but have options.

Hull Fire Department Toy Drive

 Hull Fire Department Toy Drive

Hull Fire Department and Wellspring are joining forces to distribute toys for the Hull Fire Department Toy Drive.

Hull Fire Department is the designated drop off location for the program. The start date for this great event is November 15,2020 and the end date is December 21, 2020.

All donations must be in their original boxes and the items cannot be gift wrapped.

We will be accepting toys for age groups 0-18 this year, we are increasing our ages, also we are in need of gift cards for our Santa's helpers to shop online to try and accommodate the Christmas lists we receive.

If you are dropping off gifts, I would ask you to wear a mask and leave the donation in the front doorway and simply ring the bell, one of the firefighters on duty will come. We typically greet everyone face to face and say thank you, but his year for your safety and the members there is a little change in the procedure, so I thank you in advance.

Collecting toys is a great initiative for school groups, book groups, etc.
