Memorial Day Parade and Celebration

The parade will start at 9:30, everyone can start lining up at 9:00; The ceremony is scheduled to start at 10:30 at the Gold Star Mothers Monument.

The first street dedication will be for Mr. Frank McDonough at Cadish Ave and B Street approx. 20-30 minutes after the end of Memorial Day Ceremony, then each dedication afterwards approx. 20 mins (times are hard to pin down), then Peter Azer at Samoset Ave and Warren, Patrick Patuto at Edgewater and Nantasket Ave, Paul Dunphy Sr and Paul Dunphy Jr at Andrew Road and Hamilton Circle (across from Connolly Park), then ending with Richard Sweeney at Atlantic Ave and South Ave.

Select Board Seeking Members of the Public to Serve on Town Manager Semi-Finalist Committee

Advertisement for Town Manager Semi-Finalist Committee:

The Select Board is seeking two members of the public to serve on the Town Manager Semi-Finalist Committee. The Committee will work with Paradigm Associates (Search Consultant) to interview semi-finalist candidates for the position of Town Manager. The Committee will recommend finalist candidates to the Select Board. If interested send a letter which includes relevant experience and reasons why you would like to serve. Committee members must be available to meet several times in April and May to accomplish the task. Once the Committee’s work is complete it will be dissolved.
