HONOR FAMILIES OF THE FALLEN AT FENWAY PARK ON JULY 28TH

On Saturday, July 28th, Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program and the Boston Red Sox will honor the surviving families of fallen Service Members and Veterans with a special tribute at the 9th annual Run to Home Base presented by New Balance charity race and during the on-field pre-game ceremony of the Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins game that evening.

Details for Saturday, July 28, 2018

Run to Home Base presented by New Balance: This signature fundraiser for Home Base is a 9K run and 5K run/walk that begins at Fenway Park and ends with a home plate finish inside the ballpark. Opening ceremonies begin at 7:15 AM where will we recognize and honor the sacrifice of families of the fallen, to include those who have lost a loved one by suicide. Proceeds from this race will directly support Home Base's mission to heal the invisible wounds for Veterans, Service Members and their Families. Funds raised at the Run will benefit these critical services as well as fund the overall treatment plans available to each member of a military family, regardless of when or how their loved one passed.

Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins Pre-Game Ceremony: The Red Sox will honor families of the fallen with a special tribute on the field before the Red Sox game that will include senior military and civilian leaders. Please join us for a day of remembrance and gratitude at Fenway.

If you are a surviving family member of a Service Member or Veteran and would like to join us for these two special events, please complete the attached application.
