Straits Pond Clean-up Day
Saturday April 29, 2017
10:00 A.M. to Noon (Rain or Shine)
Please join other volunteers to help pick up all the winter-storm debris that now mars the shoreline, walks, and green areas along Straits Pond. As in the
past, we will have a dumpster
available on Atlantic Avenue in Hull and a dump truck at the park across from Rocky Beach in Cohasset. Trash bags
will be provided. Work gloves, long pants, long sleeves are suggested.
Groups will
also be clearing Rocky Beach, ponds in Hingham, the Weir River Estuary Center and
surrounding grounds, and Rockland
Street from West Corner to
George Washington Blvd.
