Why is the Flag at Half Staff on June 29th?




Please be advised that Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered that the United States of America flag and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts flag be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset at all state buildings on Saturday, June 29, 2019, the day of interment, in honor of Private First Class Research Delva, United States Army, Fort Carson, CO, of Lynn Massachusetts, who died on June 8, 2019.  Private First Class Delva will be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, Massachusetts.

GOVERNOR ORDERS FLAG TO BE LOWERED JUNE 22, 2019




Please be advised that Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered that the United States of America flag and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts flag be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset at all state buildings on Saturday, June 22, 2019, the day of interment, in honor of Sergeant George R. Schipani, United States Army, who died on March 31, 1951 at Prisoner of War Camp 5, Pyoktong, North Korea.

Sergeant Schipani will be laid to rest in Somerville Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Somerville, Massachusetts.

Hull Boys Lacrosse Tournament Today - GO PIRATES




The Boys Lacrosse team will start play in the MIAA Tournament today. The game is at 4:30pm at Cohasset HS vs Coyle & Cassidy. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students and sr citizens. It should be a beautiful afternoon to watch some high school lacrosse. GO PIRATES!
