July 2, 2022 - Why is the Flag at Half Staff?

 


Please be advised that Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered that the United States of America flag and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts flag be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset at all state buildings on Saturday, July 2, 2022, the day of interment, in honor of Somerville Police Officer and Massachusetts Army National Guard (MANG) Master Sergeant Randy Renaud Isaacs, of Somerville, MA, who passed away on June 19, 2022 while on duty.

Officer Isaacs will be laid to rest at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, Massachusetts on this date.

DCR Hosting a Virtual Public Meeting on Short Term Improvements for the Nantasket Beach Reservation

 


The DCR is hosting a virtual public meeting on Short-Term Improvements for the Nantasket Beach Reservation.  The virtual meeting will be held this Thursday evening (6-16-22)  beginning at 6:00pm 

 

Topics will include a discussion on the status Street Skating Rink located in the DCR parking lot adjacent to George Washington Boulevard as well as other projects being undertaken this season and in the near future.

War Memorial Commission Notice

 



The War Memorial Committee is seeking any Veteran that meets the following criteria for inclusion on the Town of Hull's Memorial Wall.

The Veteran must have enlisted while a resident of Hull, MA and served between the dates of Jan 17th, 1991 and August 31, 2021. The Veterans' DD-214 must be submitted to:

All submissions will be vetted by the War Memorial Commission.
