Aquarion Water Flushing Program

All:

Please be informed that we have begun our spring flushing program and should be arriving in Hull early next week.  The flushing began at the Turkey Hill Tank in Hingham this week, and we are progressing towards Hull and Cohasset.

Water main/hydrant flushing activities will be conducted in the evening and early morning between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, to minimize the impacts to Aquarion customers.  This program is being undertaken to ensure customers continue to receive the highest quality water.

An electronic message board has been placed along Nantasket Avenue to inform customers in Hull.  We have also be placed an advertisement in the Hull Times.  We will be issuing daily Code Red messages to customers living on streets scheduled to be flushed.  In addition, customers can find out more about the flushing program and our daily schedule by going to our web site (www.aquarionwater.com).

We expect to be completed with the water mains in Hull by April 17th.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Stephen C. Olson, P.E.
Director of Operations, MA
