Grant Notice

Town of Hull

Community Preservation Committee Accepting Applications for CPA grants

The Community Preservation Committee is now accepting new applications for grants appropriated by the

Town of Hull’s CPA funds.  Funds from this account can be used for Historic Restoration, Open Space, Recreation and Community Housing projects.  The grants will receive final approval at Annual Town Meeting May 2022; however, the CPC board members will begin to review the new applications in early Fall of 2021.

This mandatory 2-step application process is outlined below:

Step 1:  Preliminary CPC Application for Project Eligibility – Deadline:  9/30/21

Complete preliminary application and submit as soon as you know of a worthy project.  A CPC member will contact you to confirm that your project falls within the boundaries of eligibility. If your Preliminary CPA Application is eligible, you will proceed to Step 2.

Step 2:  Final CPA Application – Deadline:   10/28/21

The final application is a more detailed application, a CPC member will be assigned to your application to assist you as you complete a final application.

IMPORTANT:

If a project is town-owned, then you MUST get permission to submit a CPC application.

Please allow enough time to get on the BOS agenda.  It is also important to get before the respective board (Conservation, Historic, Park & Rec, Community Housing) to gain their support with your project.

Application:

Refer to the Town’s website for additional information regarding this process and visit the CPC site at:  https://www.town.hull.ma.us
