Seaweed Update
The process to move the seaweed back into the ocean in the upper alphabet section / Allerton area (T Street to Bradford Road) began with last nights outgoing tide. The equipment operator worked until dark and then began again early this morning.
Most of the seaweed is gone but there remain some big deposits in areas that will hopefully get pulled out to sea on their own.
The front end loader went as far north towards the new revetment as he could without concern of getting stuck in the sand.
The Gunrock and Stony Beach areas will be addressed beginning with tomorrow mornings outgoing tide.
