The Town of Hull will soon begin the restoration of the primary dune and the construction of a new handicap accessible ramp at the end of A St. The Towns contractors will begin mobilizing the 1st week in March and the project is expected to continue until the beginning of May. This project involves removing the old concrete ramp, restoring the dune to the heights and volume of the dune to the immediate north and south, and installing a new up-and-over ramp.

The project builds upon the Towns numerous efforts to increase its resiliency and has received an Order of Conditions (permit) through the Conservation Commission. Details of the designs of the dune restoration and the ramp are available at: https://www.town.hull.ma.us/sites/g/files/vyhlif3286/f/uploads/n_nantasket_dune_restoration_-

_bid_drawings.pdf.

As this project involves demolition of concrete and pile driving, there may be some disruption of traffic and added noise during construction, particularly during the demolition of the existing structure. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience during construction.

Work will occur between 7AM -5PM; there may be a few occasions where construction may

need to go slightly longer.  If any work is necessary on Saturdays, direct abutters will be notified.

We thank you for your patience during construction. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Chris Krahforst, Conservation Administrator at 781-925-8102 or ckrahforst@town.hull.ma.us.
