HULL CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT
The
Town of Hull will soon begin the restoration
of the primary dune and
the
construction of a
new handicap accessible ramp at the end of A St.
The Town’s contractors will begin
mobilizing the 1st week
in March and
the project is expected to continue until
the
beginning of May. This
project involves removing the
old concrete ramp, restoring
the dune to the heights
and volume of the dune to the immediate
north and south, and installing a new up-and-over
ramp.
The project builds
upon the Town’s numerous efforts to
increase its resiliency and
has received
an Order of Conditions
(permit) through the Conservation
Commission. Details of the designs
of the dune restoration and
the ramp are available at:

Work will
occur between 7AM -5PM;
there may be a few occasions where construction may
need to go
slightly longer. If
any work
is necessary on
Saturdays, direct abutters
will be notified.
