VETERANS’ NAMES SOUGHT FOR MEMORIAL
The War Memorial Commission is in the process
of establishing a qualifying list of military veterans whose names would be
permanently enshrined at the Hull War Memorial Monument.
According to Paul Sordillo, Hull’s Director of
Veterans’ services, veterans who meet the following criteria and are interested
in having their names included will be considered:
•
entered the service with their home of record being Hull;
•
served honorably in armed conflict from Aug. 2, 1990, to Aug. 31, 2021, which are dates established by the
federal government; and
•
have been awarded the National Defense Medal.
All submissions will be vetted by the Memorial
Commission for compliance with the listed criteria.
Veterans should mail copies of their DD214 to
the following address:
