NOTICE OF SALE OF SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY

TAX TITLE TAKING AND/OR OTHER MEANS



The Town of Hull, acting through its Board of Selectmen and Town Manager, hereby provides notice that it will sell by sealed bids to be opened on 1:00 pm on May 27, 2020 at the Town Manager’s Office or Louis Costa Meeting Room, both at  Hull Town Hall 253 Atlantic Avenue, Hull (see below for remote observation information) the following Town owned property/property the Town acquired an interest in by tax title or other means:





105 Manomet Ave

A parcel of land located at 105 Manomet Ave 6603 sq. ft , more or less, and structures, if any shown on Assessors Map: 21 Parcel: 067. Recorded in Plymouth County Registry of deeds, Book 3367 Page: 592. The property is zoned single family. This property is currently assessed at $419,100.00.  Minimum bid is $275,000.00.



0 F Street

A parcel of land located on F Street. .16 acres , more or less, and structures if any, shown on Assessors Map: 16 Parcel: 099. Recorded in Plymouth County Registry of Deeds, Book 1913 Page 68. The property is zoned ( Single Family) . This property is currently assessed at $190,300.00.  Minimum bid is $150,000.00.



If your bid is accepted, a Memorandum of Sale with instructions will be sent to you electronically which you must sign and return with the deposit in the amount of five (5) per cent of the accepted bid within twenty-four (24) hours by Express Mail, FedEx, UPS or in person at the discretion of the Town.  Additional documents may be required.

The check(s) should be a bank check (treasurer’s, cashier’s or certified) made payable to the “Town of Hull or ________ (your name)” (meaning that both the “Town of Hull” and “your name” should appear on the check, connected by the word “or”). 



The high bidder, or accepted bidder, will be required to close on the property within 15 days.  The Town reserves the right to cancel or postpone and/or adjourn the auction to a later date, waive any informalities, accept or reject any bid.  Those interested are urged to inquire at the Office of the Town Manager at 781-925-2000 X3802 prior to the date and time to verify same.  For further and more detailed terms, requirements and information, and any addendums, go to and check frequently the Town’s website at www.town.hull.ma.us under Available Bids, Quotes and Proposals, which terms, requirements and information are incorporated by reference herein.



At the Town’s discretion, it may also enter into a Memorandum of Sale with the next lower bidder as a backup buyer, with full reservation by the Town of all rights, claims and remedies.
