VILLAGE STREET PAVING TO BEGIN

Village Streets Paving to Begin

The Town’s contractor, TL Edwards, will be paving the Village streets of Highland Avenue, Newton Street, Western Avenue, Andrew Avenue, Vautrinot Avenue and Mt Pleasant Street starting on or about Wednesday, October 21st and continuing for the following three weeks, weather permitting.  The first phase of work consists of placing a leveling layer of asphalt on the road to fill any irregularities and to provide proper drainage.  Next, casting adjustments will be made for each utility cover within the roadway to raise them to the finished roadway grade.  Lastly, an overlay layer of asphalt will be placed full width in each roadway followed by any edge of road restoration.

Property owners along the affected roadways are asked to be aware of the work and not park on any roads being paved that day and must have all vehicles removed from the road by 7:00 each morning.  Code Red notifications will be made to the affected area and Town of Hull social media pages will provide notices about the work.  If anyone has any project site specific questions or special needs, contact Dan Moniz, resident construction representative for the Town’s engineering consultant, BETA Group at 508-326-8406.
